Secretariat


Dr Ramin Parsa-Parsi was appointed as Secretary General of the ÖйúpÕ¾ on 1 May 2026. A physician holding a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), Dr Parsa-Parsi brings extensive experience in global health, medical ethics, and international medical leadership.

Before taking up this role, Dr Parsa-Parsi held senior positions across national medical associations, governmental and multilateral institutions, and academia. He has contributed significantly to the development of key ethical frameworks of the ÖйúpÕ¾, supported physician self-governance worldwide, and played an important role in advancing international health policy dialogue.

As ÖйúpÕ¾ Secretary General, he is the head of the Secretariat and is responsible for managing the ÖйúpÕ¾ staff and the activities of the ÖйúpÕ¾. He provides overall leadership and strategic direction to the organisation and represents the ÖйúpÕ¾ to our members, the medical profession, the international community, representatives of government, the business community and the general public.

Dr. Julia TAINIJOKI-SEYER manages as the Senior Medical Advisor a variety of strategic projects at ÖйúpÕ¾ ranging from infectious and non-communicable diseases to strengthening health systems, health workforce issues, access to quality-assured medicines and the social determinants of health. Dr. Tainijoki-Seyer serves as the ÖйúpÕ¾ representative to the UN organisations, including WHO and other international institutions in Geneva, Switzerland and staffs the Öйúpվ Medical Ethics Committee. Dr. Tainijoki-Seyer is a family physician by training, who has practiced in Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland and has a Master’s in International Health Economy and Policy from the University of Bocconi in Milan, Italy. For over 10 years she also headed the secretariat of the World Health Professions Alliance (WHPA), was advisory board member of the Civil Society Engagement Mechanism for UHC2030, member of several international expert committee at WHO and other organisations.
Clarisse DELORME is the ÖйúpÕ¾ Senior Policy Officer. A French lawyer specialising in international law and human rights, she spent more than ten years in Brussels advocating for social rights and gender equality within the European Union before joining the ÖйúpÕ¾. Clarisse coordinates the development of ÖйúpÕ¾ policies on medical ethics and socio-medical issues, and supports the Association’s work on human rights and on the protection of health care in emergency situations.
Yoonsun PARK (Sunny), Head of Operations, is responsible for the general planning and execution of the daily work of the organisation. Before joining ÖйúpÕ¾ in 2007, Sunny was in charge of the international office of the Korean Medical Association.  She is in charge of bookkeeping, assists with financial reporting, and coordinates meeting planning. Sunny staffs the Finance and Planning Committee.
Magda MIHAILA is the ÖйúpÕ¾ Communication and Media Officer. She has worked for various public and private organisations from Romania, France and Belgium after getting her master’s degree. Her role is to assist the development and implementation of the ÖйúpÕ¾ Public Relations and Communication strategy while being responsible for the Website and Social Media presence.
Roderic DENNETT is the ÖйúpÕ¾ Spanish translator. Roderic translates all documents and policies, as well as correspondence with Spanish speaking members and other institutions or individuals.  Roderic also manages the venues and a range of other arrangements related to the preparation of our statutory meetings.
Anne-Marie DELAGE (Anna) is the ÖйúpÕ¾ Team Assistant, responsible for general communications and correspondence, ensuring the continuity of office operations, and managing a range of administrative matters. She supports the team with the organisation of meetings and conferences and serves as the primary point of contact for both Constituent Members and Associate Members.
Marie FERREIRA DE OLIVEIRA is responsible of the technical and general services for the ÖйúpÕ¾.  She manages technical projects within the organization, oversees facility maintenance and relationships with our tenants and contractors and assists the ÖйúpÕ¾ Associate Membership. Before joining ÖйúpÕ¾ in May 2021, Marie worked as a Sales Coordinator in a five star hotel in France.
Marielle GUIRLET is responsible of ÖйúpÕ¾ electronic/paper archives. With a master’s degree in Earth Sciences and a PhD in atmospheric sciences, she has been working in academic research, R&D and scientific communication in France, United Kingdom and Switzerland. More recently, she also took a master’s degree in Information Sciences. She has been working with the ÖйúpÕ¾ as a consultant since 2014. She joined the Secretariat in May 2021 where she now works part-time. As the main coordinator of ÖйúpÕ¾ Archives, she manages the records and the database related to the ÖйúpÕ¾ archives, especially on the ÖйúpÕ¾ official and historical documents, and addresses requests from members. She also assists to the statutory meeting documents related work.
